Google teases Android 4.4 KitKat’s arrival on October 18

Quite a few of us eagerly await the unveiling of the Android 4.4 KitKat and Nexus 5, which was believed to be coming at the end of this month. But if Google’s latest teaser is anything to go by, at least the next iteration of Android could be unveiled as early as this Friday.
Google has posted a teaser image on its Google+ page (spotted by Android Community), which shows the Android KitKat bot striking a dance pose followed by the words, “Everybody dance now”. Those familiar with the music scene of the 90’s will remember these words from the hit single by C+C Music Factory. The coincidence doesn’t end there either; the song’s length is exactly 4 minutes and 4 seconds.
Considering the song was originally released on October 18, 1990 and Commissioner Gordon’s famous words, “Stop believing in coincidences,” we believe Google is highly likely to unveil the OS this Friday.
