LG G Pad 8.3 Google Edition launched in the US

Yesterday, a @evleaks tweet about a device codenamed LG V510 being a Nexus device created quite a bit of buzz as many, including us, thought it was the forthcoming Nexus 10. Turns out it isn’t, but what it is, is the Google Edition of LG’s G Pad 8.3. The device is now available on the US Google Play Store for $349 (Rs 21,400 approximately), but unfortunately there’s no word on when it could come to India.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the tablet flaunts an 8.3-inch WUXGA (1920×1020 pixels) display with 273ppi and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM.
Other features include a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi connectivity and a 4,600mAh battery. The tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is available in an indigo black color.
