With Micromax slated to officially launch the Canvas 4 on July 8, Karbonn Mobiles it seems has made a preemptive strike and launched the Titanium S9, which features a massive 5.5-inch IPS display and costs Rs 19,990.
Talking about features, the Karbonn Titanium S9 is a dual-SIM phone which comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM. In addition to that the phone offers 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The phone flaunts a huge 5.5-inch IPS HD display offering 720p resolution. In terms of photography, the back of the phone sports a 13-megapixel auto-focus camera with flash light and the front has a 5-megapixel camera which can be used for video calling over 3G.
There is a 2600mAh battery. The connectivity options in the phone includes support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and other features include Sensors like G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Ambient Light Sensor.
In addition to the Titanium S9, Karbonn is also expected to launch the Titanium S6 later this month and this device could sport a 1080p resolution screen and a Qualcomm processor.
