Xperia smartphone users wondering about when they will get an Android update for their phones need not worry anymore. Sony has released a software update roadmap where it mentions what phones are about to get an update in the coming days.
Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL owners can update their phones to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean right away, while other smartphone like the Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z should be receiving the update early next month.
Sony has also said that phones like the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia SP and Xperia Z Ultra would be getting the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. Though there’s currently no time frame mentioned.Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL owners can update their phones to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean right away, while other smartphone like the Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z should be receiving the update early next month.
