Google Docs and Drive apps get a cleaner and colorful redesign

Google apps are known for their spartan user-interface design, but off late Google has shown the capacity to be flatter and be prettier in terms of design. One just needs to look at its apps on iOS and the UI of Android, but now even Google Drive is getting a redesign, which makes all the Google Docs apps cleaner and more colorful.

Notably, each editors product icon is displayed in the header, which also acts as a quick link back to files in Google Drive. This holds true for all three Google Docs app. The header itself is now more streamlined and compact, which according to Google will help the user to focus on the content.
