Micromax Canvas 4 teaser photo hints at a unique unlocking system yet again


With just a day to go before Micromax starts accepting pre-order for its highly anticipated Canvas 4, the Indian smartphone vendor has posted yet another teaser photo on its Twitter profile. The photo teases a new way to unlock the Canvas 4.
Micrmax yet again teases a unique way to unlock the Canvas 4 with the tweet indicating that the forthcoming device could be unlocked without touching. The photo too has the word “Don’t” with the iconic slide to iPhone unlock bar under it.
It’s difficult to comment on this so-called revolutionary unlocking method and we will have to wait till when Micromax finally unveils the device.

To recap on what we know of the device so far, rumors point to a price of around Rs 15,990 and will include features like a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Cortex A7 processor, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2-megapixel secondary camera.
Additionally the phone will also come with a microSD card slot, a 3,000mAh battery and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. On the software front, the device is said to run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
