ZTE yesterday made an entry into the Indian mobile market by launching
six new Android smartphones and three Internet data cards. For those
who were disappointed by the absence of an HD display on the flagship
Grand X, there is some good news. During the launch event ZTE revealed
that it would be brining the Grand S, which flaunts a 1080p display, to
India in the coming weeks.
The ZTE Grand S, which was launched
at this year’s CES, packs in a 5-inch 1080p display in a very thin form
factor measuring only 6.9mm. The device is powered by a quad-core
Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 pro processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM and
has 16GB internal storage that can be expanded to up to 32GB using a
microSD card.
There’s no word at what price ZTE would launch the device in India. But we should have some information in the coming weeks.
