Nokia Asha smartphones receive a major software update, adds support for mail for exchange

Nokia is rolling out a major update for its Asha Touch smartphones which include the Asha 305, Asha 306 and the dual-SIM variants Asha 308 and Asha 310. The update adds a number of new features to the devices, but the biggest deal is support for Microsoft’s mail for exchange protocol.
This means the aforementioned devices are now more usable in an office that runs on mail for exchange servers. Apart from this, the update also adds a dedicated YouTube launcher and improves upon the social experience.
Nokia says that users can download the update directly off the phone, which means it’s an OTA update. All that a user needs to do is go to the menu and then hit the settings option. From here one has hit ‘phone’ and from there press device updates tab.  Nokia recommends downloading the update over a Wi-Fi network.
