We have reiterated multiple times that the HTC One is simply the best Android smartphone on the planet. But imagine if it just got a little better? Now, HTC is teasing the dual-SIM version of the One on its India website with a ‘coming soon’ badge.
The dual-SIM version of the HTC One is identical to the singular SIM variant for all intents and purposes except for the fact that also has a microSD card slot so users can expand the memory even further. Additionally, the dual-SIM version of the One comes in three memory SKUs – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The model currently, available in India only offers a 32GB option. However, it remains to be seen which internal storage version HTC launches in India.
Perhaps, the biggest deal out here is the ability to expand the memory, because that arguably remains the biggest advantage for the Samsung Galaxy S4 against the HTC One. Till now, the dual-SIM version of the HTC One was only released in China, but it appears HTC recognises the popularity of dual-SIM smartphones in India and hence plans to bring it here.Notably, the arrival of the dual-SIM HTC One will also mark the launch of the first flagship class dual-SIM Android smartphone in India.
