Panasonic T31 budget smartphone with 4-inch display, Android Jelly Bean launched for Rs 7,990

Earlier this year, Panasonic entered the Indian smartphone market with the P51 and then followed it up with the P11, T11 and the T21. Now the company has launched its fifth device in India called the T31. This budget Android smartphone has been priced at Rs 7,990 and will be available at stores later this month.

Talking of specifications, the Panasonic T31 flaunts a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Other features included are a 3.2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 4GB of internal storage that is expandable using a microSD card and a 1,300mAh battery.


Connectivity-wise the device features dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Panasonic is offering the T31 in pure white and bluish black color variants and has pre-loaded the device with apps Hungama, Panasonic VIERA remote utility, WeChat and games like Assassins Creed, GT Racing 2, and Mortal Kombat 4.


Priced at Rs 7,990, Panasonic’s newest smartphone will face competition from the likes of Micromax A74 Canvas Fun, LG Optimus L4 2 Dual and the Videocon A30 among others.
