Karbonn Reveals Quad-Core, HD Smartphone Titanium S6

Bangalore: Karbonn Mobiles is all set to launch its next flagship Smartphone, named Titanium S6, sporting top notch specs like quad-core processor and an HD screen, in second week of July, reports NDTV Gadget.

The device like its other siblings, Titanium S1 and Titanium S5, will come with a Qualcomm’s quad-core processor, but could be clocked at higher speeds than 1.2 GHz.

The mobile is expected to have 2GB RAM and will run on latest Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS. And it is to sport a 5-inch HD display and comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for video calling. Another distinguishing feature is a ‘stylus,’ similar to Samsung Galaxy Note Devices.

Pradeep Jain, Managing Director of Karbonn Mobiles told that the Smartphone will be priced attractively. If we go by the Karbonn’s norm of pricing the device may not cost you more than  20,000. "Our aim at Karbonn is not to provide the cheapest smartphone is the category but a quality product in the market. We have done that with our past products and we will continue to do the same with Titanium S6," he said.

The Smartphone will be competing with Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z, Lemon A4 and the recently launched Lava Iris 504Q, which sports similar specs.
