Micromax Canvas Lite A92 spotted selling for Rs 8,499, features a 5-inch display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Indian smartphone vendor Micromax’s yet another budget Android phone – the Canvas Lite A92 – has been spotted selling on an e-commerce portal. The domestic player is riding high due to the success of its Canvas series and is all set to unveil its next flagship named Canvas 4 A210 on July 8. First spotted by FoneArena, the Canvas Lite, however, is a rather affordable phone with stripped down features, and is priced for Rs 8,499.
In terms of features, it is a dual-SIM phone like all other phones in the Canvas series and comes with a WVGA 5-inch TFT IPS display offering 480×854 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 196PPI. It runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1 and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of internal memory. There also is 4GB of internal memory which can be pushed up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The phone is 10.8mm thick and houses a 2000mAh battery, which promises 6 hours of talktime on 2G and 240 hours of standby back up. The phone has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On connectivity front, there is support for 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The Micromax Canvas Lite A92 is showing up for Rs 8,499 at Flipkart, but is currently out of stock. However, it is believed to go on sale pretty soon.
