Google reportedly launching the next-generation Nexus 7 towards the end of July

We have been hearing quite a bit about the next-generation Nexus 7, which is said to be close to an unveiling. Though there’s no word on a specific yet, a report on Taiwanese publication Economic Daily cites sources claiming that Google is likely to launch the tablet at the end of this month in Taiwan.
The report further claims the second-generation Nexus 7 will be priced at around $299 (Rs 17,900 approximately), which is about $100 more than the current-generation tablet. The tablet will be first launched in Taiwan with other markets soon to follow.
From what we know of the forthcoming tablet so far, next-generation Nexus 7 or Asus K009 as it is also known will sport a 7-inch full-HD 1080p display and will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM. Other features likely to be included on the tablet are 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front camera, 32GB of internal memory, 4,000mAh battery, and it will even have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE and NFC. Notably, it will be powered by Android 4.3.
