On Tuesday night Google unveiled the new version of the popular Nexus 7 and it has largely received positive reactions from the tech universe. But Google doesn’t look to be slowing down as report of a refreshed Nexus 10 in the making has cropped up online.
Wall Street Journal reported Amir Efrati has tweeted that Google and Samsung are again collaborating to release a refreshed Nexus 10 later this year. Giving weight to this piece of news is the fact that this comes straight from the mouth of Android chief Sundar Pichai.
To remind you of the original Nexus 10, the tab sports a 10-inch WQXGA (2560×1600 pixels) display and is powered by a dual-core Exynos 5 processor and 2GB of RAM. Other features include a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.9-megapixel front camera, 16/32GB memory options and a 9,000mAh battery. We can expect a similar evolutionary update to the Nexus 10 with better specs and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean aboard. There’s no word on any specific date and as the Nexus 10 is not officially available in India, it’s difficult to say if or when the new Nexus 10 will come to our shores.
