YouTube introduces embeddable subscription button to boost channel subscriptions

YouTube has introduced a set of new subscribe button options that can be added or embedded to any web page. This update will now allow video creators to embed the subscribe buttons on their websites for both free and paid channels on YouTube. Also, the subscribe button will let users subscribe to a YouTube channel without having to leave a site to either log in to YouTube to confirm their subscriptions.

The company believes that this move will help them boost subscription numbers for paid channels. There are number of button-options available to feature user’s channel’s name and logo. YouTube clarifies that one cannot use subscription buttons to “track any data about a user related to the user’s actions or browsing activity
