Microsoft has announced a new subscription package for Office 365 University for university students. Now, students will need to only pay Rs 4,199 for a four year subscription of the service. Students will have the ability to run Office applications of two PCs or Macs with Office on Demand coughing a native app experience by streaming bits of the apps and 20GB of storage on Microsoft SkyDrive.
Apart from full-time and part-time university and collage students, the faculty and staff of accredited institutions are also eligible to use Office 365 under this scheme. For those who don’t know, Office 365 includes iconic applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and Access.

Students will need to go online at www.office.com/verify to verify their eligibility for the suite. During the verification process, students will need to fill out their university credentials, or international student identity card (ISIC) details. Alternatively, they can submit documentation through the manual verification process. The verification process is completed online; after which students can purchase Office 365 University from the online Microsoft store.
