Back in May, we reported about Samsung’s designers working on a new design language called ‘Design 3.0’, which would bring in a host of external and internal changes to its flagship phones. Though it wasn’t clear then, a report on ETNews (via Unwired View) has revealed what could be the first phone to benefit from this new design language.
According to ETNews, Samsung is reportedly working on a new line of ultra-premium devices, which would be branded Galaxy F and placed above the Galaxy S series.
We won’t be seeing the first device until early next year, which is consistent with the timeline mentioned in our previous report.
In terms of specifications and design, the Galaxy F is likely to feature a full-metal body, updated design and will feature an octa-core Exynos processor, 16-megapixel camera with OIS. Not much else is known about the device, but pricing-wise it is sure to be placed higher than the Galaxy Note series.
