Doodle 4 Google winner’s entry hits Google homepage to celebrate Children’s Day

On Children’s day today, Google has put up a very interesting doodle that was designed by a Pune-based girl, who was the winner of Google’s annual doodle-based competition held in India. The doodle, titled as the “Sky’s the limit for Indian women”, was designed by Gayatri Ketharaman for the fifth edition of Doodle4Google competition, and is dedicated to all the Indian women from different walks of life. This Google doodle is painted in a variety of colors, with each of its letter portraying women working in different fields and playing various roles.
Gayatri Ketharaman explains it saying, “Each letter of the doodle depicts the trait of Indian women. She is graceful and elegant, adept at balancing work and home. She is a go-getter and also personifies motherhood.”
The initial letter ‘G’ of the doodle is portrayed as a classical dancer, followed by ‘o’ as a musical instrument. The rest of the letters depict various segments and professions ranging from an academician to motherhood to an astronaut, indicating how women have mastered all traits.
