Acer Iconia W4 tablet running on Windows 8.1 launched in India for Rs 24,999

After launching the Iconia W3 in India earlier this year, Acer has launched its successor called the Iconia W4. The 8-inch tablet runs on Windows 8.1 and is available in two variants differentiated by internal storage and price. The 32GB variant is priced at Rs 24,999 and the 64GB variant is priced at Rs 26,999.
Talking of hardware, the Iconia W4 flaunts a slightly smaller 8-inch WXGA (1280×800 pixels) display compared to the 8.1-inch display on its predecessor. It is powered by a fourth-generation Intel Atom Z3740 quad-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM.
Other features include a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto focus, 2-megapixel camera on the front, 32/64GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card and a 4,960mAh battery that is said to last up to 8 hours.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, micro-HDMI port, and on the software front, the tablet runs on Windows 8.1. The tab also comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013, for creating and editing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents.

Acer is also offering optional accessories like the Crunch Keyboard, which is an external keyboard that connects via Bluetooth 3.0 or micro-USB, Crunch Cover, which slim-fit cover for the tablet and others like responsive passive stylus, power bank and an adaptor kit with bag.
