Following the launch of Gionee Elife E5 smartphone for Rs 19,999 in India, the Chinese vendor has today announced the Elife E6, which was rumored for long now. The phone features a full HD Retina display and will be available post August in India.
Talking about the specifications, the phone weighs in at 128g, is 6.18 mm thin, and has a 2.54mm narrow edge. This is a single-SIM phone which has a 5-inch full HD Retina display with a 1080p resolution and pixel density of 441 ppi.
It runs on Android version 4.2 Jelly and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It flaunts a unibody design and Gionee says that it has the world’s first white One glass solution (OGS) panel.
Beside this, there is a 32GB memory support in the phone. The phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with 5-elements and has a 5-megapixel front camera, and is capable of recording full HD videos at 1080p. Other features include support for motion sensor and gesture controls, a non-removable 2020 mAh Battery and wireless connectivity support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS.
The phone will be priced in India for CNY2699 (approximately Rs 26,000).
