The company has also released the Galaxy S4 zoom for Rs 29,900 in India. The phone basically is a hybrid of point and shoot camera and a smartphone.
Features wise, the Galaxy S4 zoom comes with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with a qHD resolution. It runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage space which can be supplemented to up to 64GB using a microSD.
The major attraction of the phone is its 16-megapixel camera sensor with 10X optical zoom, while the front has a 1.9-megapixel camera.
The phone is very thick at 15.4mm due to the 16-megapixel sensor that protrudes at the back. On connectivity front, there is 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and A-GPS support, along with a 2,330-mAh battery.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy S4 Zoom for Rs 29,900 which is slightly more than the S4 mini which was also launched today.
