Videocon A24 budget smartphone running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean launched for Rs 4,699

Videocon has launched a new budget smartphone called the A24. This pocket friendly smartphone running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is available on e-commerce sites and retail stores for Rs 4,699.

In terms of specifications, the Videocon A24 sports a 4-inch WVGA display and is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Other features included are 256MB of RAM, 3.2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, FM Radio with recording capabilities, expandable memory to up to 32GB and a 1,450mAh battery.

Videocon A55HD Android smartphone launched in India for Rs 13,400

Videocon Mobiles has launched a new smartphone named A55HD which as the name suggests comes with a high definition display offering 720p resolution. The phone is priced for Rs 13,499.

Features-wise, the A55HD offers a 5-inch OGS capacitive display offering 1280×720 pixels resolution, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus which can take up to 40 continuous shots on burst mode, and a 3.2-megapixel camera on front.
