Lenovo Vibe X Android smartphone with 1080p display likely to launch in India on December 17

Earlier this year at the IFA, Lenovo unveiled a new smartphone with a 1080p display called the Vibe X. The device will now be arriving at our shores next week and the company has sent us a media invite for the launch event on December 17 in New Delhi.

To remind you of the specifications, the Vibe X flaunts a 5-inch full HD IPS (1920×1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek (6589T) SoC paired with 2GB of RAM.
Other features include a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 5-megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal storage but no microSD card slot and a 2,000mAh battery. In terms of dimensions, the device measures merely 6.9mm in thickness and weighs in at 121 gram and on the software front the device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
