Lenovo Vibe X Android smartphone with 1080p display likely to launch in India on December 17

Earlier this year at the IFA, Lenovo unveiled a new smartphone with a 1080p display called the Vibe X. The device will now be arriving at our shores next week and the company has sent us a media invite for the launch event on December 17 in New Delhi.

To remind you of the specifications, the Vibe X flaunts a 5-inch full HD IPS (1920×1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek (6589T) SoC paired with 2GB of RAM.

Lenovo to launch Yoga Tab in India tomorrow, initiates pre-orders

It seems like Lenovo is launching the recently announced Yoga Tab in India on November 15. The company has started initiating pre-orders for the tablet where users can signup to get a privilege coupon that would let them pre-order the tablet from November 15-17 and also offer some sort of a bundle worth Rs 5,499.

The Yoga Tab comes in 8-inch and 10-inch variants and boast 18 hours of battery life. Both the tablets have a display resolution of 1280×800 pixels and are powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8125 processor for the Wi-Fi version and the MediaTek MT8389 processor for the 3G version.

Lenovo launches a slew of Android and Windows 8 tablets in India

Lenovo is considered to be one the top PC vendors in India. Its Windows portfolio is top notch, but when one talks about its Android offerings then it comes up short. Today, the company launched a slew of tablets that run both on Android and Windows 8 in India. The products launched include the Android based A1000, A3000 and S6000 Android tablets and the Windows 8 based ThinkPad Tablet 2 and IdeaPad Lynx K3011.

The A1000 is a low cost tablet that costs Rs 8,999. While it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it has a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz from MediaTek and has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. Lenovo touts its pocket studio surround sound that incorporates Dolby technology. It has front facing speakers for better audio. Additionally, it packs 16GB of internal memory along with a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB of storage.

Lenovo A390 and K900 Android smartphones available online for Rs 8,689 and Rs 32,999.

Earlier this month, Lenovo launched a slew of devices at an event in New Delhi. Two of those devices namely the A390 and the K900 were spotted by AndroidOS.in on Lenovo’s e-store, available for Rs 8,689 and Rs 32,999 respectively.

To remind you again, the Lenovo K900 is also one of the first smartphones in the world to utilize Intel’s CloverTrail+ dual-core chipset clocked at 2GHz and features a 5.5-inch IPS (1920×1080 pixels) display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 13-megapixel rear camera, 2,500-mAh battery and run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Lenovo unveils convertible Windows 8 tablet, IdeaPad Touch devices

The Lenovo Miix is a multimode 10.1-inch tablet that can be converted into a laptop by using an additional "quick-flip" detachable folio case that includes an integrated AccuType keyboard.

Lenovo is banking heavily on touch as a key consumer trend, and has launched a new range of devices with this in mind.

The Chinese PC maker has announced several new touch-enabled Windows laptops: the IdeaPad S400 Touch, S500 Touch, S210 Touch, U330 Touch and U430 Touch. Each laptop is part of the company's S Series and U Series, all of which designed to be lightweight and with thin bodies.
