Xolo launches new Q700 Club smartphone onlly Rs 6,999

Xolo has launched Q700 Club smartphone at Rs 6,999. The phone listed on the Xolo website is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The Q700 Club sports a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display with a pixel density of 218ppi.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali-400 MP2 GPU.

The phone has front dual speakers and it comes with free unlimited music and video downloads for 3 months on pre-installed Hungama Music app.

The Q700 Club stands out as it is touted to be dust and water resistant. The phone has 8GB internal storage, expandable up to 32 GB

It has a 5MP rear camera and a Vga front facing camera.

The phone has a 2400 mAh battery which ensures more talk time, music, web browsing and more videos.

Its camera has features such as image stabilization, scene detection and tuning, high dynamic range (HDR), low light enhancement, face recognition, panorama capture and geo tagging.

Xolo Play Tegra Note tablet to launch in India on December 16

Last week, Xolo’s Nvidia Tegra-powered tablet called the Play Tegra Note was spotted on an Indian e-commerce site, which was an indication that a launch was nearby. Today the company has sent us a media invite for the tablet’s launch event later next week on December 16.

To recap, the Xolo Play Tegra Note is powered by a Tegra 4 SoC featuring a quad-core Cortex A15 CPU, which also includes a fifth core for better battery efficiency and a massive 72-core GeForce GPU. Other features include a 7-inch (1280×800 pixels) display, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera with software add-ons like Camera Awesome app, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded to up to 32GB using a microSD card and a battery that is good enough for 10 hours of HD video playback.

Xolo A500L smartphone spotted, expected to launch soon

Xolo is soon going to launch a new smartphone named the A500L, and for now has listed the phone on its website, Gizbot reports. And though Xolo is keeping the price for the phone under wraps, with the kind of features it carries the phone will most likely be launched as an affordable offering.

On the feature front, the Xolo A500L comes with a 4-inch WVGA display with 480×800 pixels resolution. The phone runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and is powered by a dual-core MediaTek 6572 processor with 1.3GHz clock speed, a Mali-400 MP GPU and 512MB of RAM. It also has 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded by up to 32GB with microSD card.

Xolo Play Tab 7.0 with Nvida Tegra 3 launched for Rs 12,999

Xolo today launched its first Android tablet on Nvidia’s Tegra 3 chipset, the Play Tab 7.0, which is now available in India for Rs 12,999. This should not be confused with the recently announced Xolo Tegra Note tablet, which runs on Tegra 4, comes with a stylus and where updates will come directly from Nvidia to ensure it gets Android OS updates regularly. It is also expected to be launched this month.
